SUMMER 2020 ACTIVITIES

Whether you're looking for a structured activity similar to our classes, or a semi-structured activity, more like our open gyms, hopefully you will find a day and time that fits your family's schedule. Pre-registration is required for every activity this summer - no drop-in's will be allowed. We will be limiting the number of participants and using both the Blue and Red Gyms. Please enter through the Blue Gym and exit through the Red Gym. Can't wait to see your child.

STRUCTURED CLASSES

We are offering structured class settings for 1-3 year olds with an adult, 4-6 year olds and 6-12 year olds. Instructors will lead children through different stations to learn fundamental gymnastics skills for either 40 minutes or 55 minutes, depending on their age.

SEMI-STRUCTURED ACTIVITIES

We are offering a variety of semi-structured activities for all of our different age groups...1, 2, 3's & ME! is an open play time for our youngest of students and their adult helper, GYM JAM is a 2 hour activity for 4-12 year olds (groups will be divided by age if necessary). Look for more activities to be added in the following weeks. 

Tumble Tot 1 & 2

This is a perfect class for our youngest students and requires an adult to assist each child. The class meets one time per week and lasts 40 minutes. It consists of a 10 minute warm-up (music, parachute, stretching), followed by three different 10 minute age-appropriate obstacle courses throughout the gym area.

Tumble Tot 2 & 3

This class is designed for our two and three years old students and requires an adult to assist each child. The 40 minute class, which meets once per week, consists of a 10 minute warm-up,  followed by three 10 minute age appropriate obstacle courses.

Tumble Tot 3 & 4

This class is for our three and four years old students and designed for them to participate in the class on their own. The class meets once a week and is 40 minutes in length. It consists of a 10 minute warm-up, followed by three 10 minute age appropriate obstacle courses.

Tumble Tot 4&5

This class is for our four and five years old students. Our lesson plans and curriculum for the entire school year make this a perfect class for the year before your child will begin kindergarten. The 40 minute class consists of a 10 minute warm-up, followed by three 10 minute age appropriate obstacle courses.

Kinder-Girls

This class is for our five and six years old girls who are ready to learn specific skills in women's gymnastics. It is designed to be a lot of fun while starting to learn proper technique of the fundamentals. The 55 minute class consists of a 10 minute warm-up, followed by three 15 minute stations on different apparatus each week.

Beginner

Perfect for 1st or 2nd grade girls, this class is for six to nine year olds who are ready to learn specific skills in women's gymnastics. This class will be a lot of fun while focusing on proper technique of the fundamentals. The 55 minute class consists of a 10 minute warm-up, followed by three 15 minute stations on different apparatus each week.

Intermediate

Ideal for seven to nine year old girls who have already learned the basics and are ready for additional challenges in women's gymnastics. For safety reasons, previous experience is recommended, as this class will build on the foundations taught in our Beginner level. The 55 minute class consists of a 10 minute warm-up, followed by three 15 minute stations on different apparatus each week.

Boys Fitness

This class is for five to nine year old boys who are ready to have fun and learn the fundamental skills of men's gymnastics as well as strength, flexibility, agility, spacial awareness, endurance and more. The 55 minute class consists of a 10 minute warm-up, followed by three 15 minute stations on different apparatus each week.

Boys Fitness 8 - 12

We commonly refer to this class, which is taught in connection with the other two girls classes for 8-12 year olds on Wednesday nights, as THE BIG CLASS, because it's perfect for our oldest students. Whether your son is just starting gymnastics or is an expert, he is guaranteed to have fun and learn a lot. Once per week for 85 minutes.

Beginner/Intermediate 8 - 12

"The Big Class" as we call it, is taught at the same time as the Boys 8-12 class, as well as the Advanced/Elite girls class. For safety reasons, students are broken into groups of similar ability, so no experience is necessary for this particular group. Basic fundamentals through advanced skills can be taught when the girls are ready on all the equipment. This class meets for 85 minutes on Wednesday evenings.

Advanced/Elite

This class meets every Wednesday night for 85 minutes and is commonly called "The Big Class" because it's a big group of our oldest students, those between the ages of 8-12 years old. This group will be divided into subgroups of similar experience and abilities. Once the fundamentals are safely mastered, more advanced skills will be introduced on all the different apparatuses. 

Tumbling Class

Students will learn tumbling skills through the foundation of safely mastering skills in a progressional manner. Focus is on the floor, tumble track and trampoline. This class meets once a week for 55 minutes and is for 8 year olds and up. For safety reasons, each student will be challenged appropriately for their own abilities, so this class is open to beginning students through the more experienced and advanced.

Kid's Morning /Lunch /Night Outs

ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THESE DROP-OFF ACTIVITIES.

KMO = Kid's Morning Out! Two hours of gym, snack, craft, fun, typically on Monday mornings.

KLO = Kid's Lunch Out! Two hours of gym, lunch (bring a packed one!), video, fun, typically on Fridays.

KNO = Kid's Night Out! Four hours of fun, typically the first Friday of the month @ 6-10pm.
